Help - Lost Cd!!!

Been looking round the house for CD..... cant find it and its just sprung on me that its in my symphony HU that i took out of fabia.......... is it possible to power this up out of the car to get it out??

12v battery should do it, one 12v connection on the perm live, one on the ignition live and an earth.
