| Right here goes ,bit tongue in cheek ,but serious as well Octy 01 vrs ice on outside of windscreen ,same amount on the inside, and i do not think the octavia has got the best system for clearing the screen inside.Anyone else suffer with this and if so any ideas how to cure or minimize apart from moving somewhere warmer. Had alook round for leaks ,condensation etc and cannot find anything(well nothing obvious) About time they fitted heated windscreens |

| I suffer from this too - don't know why, but the Octy always does seem kind of moist inside, and I too have checked for water ingress. Easiest way I've found to deal with this is to get a pan from a dustpan'n'brush set, and use it to catch the ice as I scrape it off. At least that way it is, in theory, removing moisture from the car, so providing there's no leaks it should sort itself out. Guess the other option would be the purchase a "moisture trap"...I know Big W used to sell them for about £3-4... Rob. |
