| This certainly is one for the ICE geeks.... My Superb has the SatNav unit that gets thrown into all Superb models. My old headunit which was in my Octy VRS was capable of playing MP3s and I miss this option. Is it possible to attach an MP3 player of somekind to the inbuilt SatNav system? Flicking through the menu options shows the "AUX" greyed out. What options do I have, as the SatNav is staying, so replacing the ICE is out of the question. All I want is MP3 functionality back. Cheers in advance guys.....

| There are non VAG conversion adapters available from ebay etc that will fit into a socket on the back of the navigation unit that will give you av fly lead socket to plug your mp3 IIRC you need a Dietz 1212 for single AV input, http://www.satnavsystems.com/ will be your best reliable source about £110. You will need removal keys also to remove your navigation unit to install a plug in the back of navigation unit. If you need to remove power ISO cables to unit out far enough you might need your naigation 4 digit security code, as I am not sure the Superb stores the code in the dash module. Its non VAG so if you damage your unit fitting it will not be covered under warranty. John |
