Default A question for Skoda satnav owners

With the Skoda OEM satnav, how can you define where your destination is?

I need a system which allows me to enter a full postcode (AB12 3CD) rather than a partial postcode (AB12 3), a street address or pointing to it on a map.

Will the Skoda MFD unit allow you to do this, or have I got to go for a more expensive aftermarket unit (and yes I know TomTom will do it. I'm trying to clear things off my dashboard)

TIA

Looking at my father-in-law's new Octy, yes post code input is available but only first 3 digits (eg. SE1 6). other systems will allow full code entry. The blaupunkt derived system is not that user friendly so I'm pretty glad I didn't invest in the extra £1300 when I bought my new Octy in November. I think I'll be investing in a decent PDA (as my previous organiser died a few months ago) and install navigation software and hook it up to a Bluetooth GPS antenna.

Cheers Dazza, I've seen the Medion befor but I need a full function PDA with sat nav as a secondary - givent my line of work. The medion is average in both respects but the PDA spec is a little basic. Cheers anyway.

Cheers Dazza, I've seen the Medion before but I need a full function PDA with sat nav as a secondary - given my line of work. The medion is average in both respects but the PDA spec is a little basic. Cheers anyway.
