| Anyone had this problem with the display on a Symphony HU as fitted to a MK1 octy 1.9tdi elegance? Mine has decied to display in hyroglyphics. Whe first switched on the HU displays and plays as normal but after about 2mins the display goes all random with weird characters, blocks etc. The radio stations play as normal and all presets work its just the display going weird? Anyone any ideas on how whats causing this..? cheers JR

| It may be due to a faulty component inside the radio, had a similar problem on a video recorder, and that was due to a faulty capacitor in the power supply. Does the display actually return to normal, or does the display the characters all the time? |

| The display starts off okay then after about 2mins goes all to cck. If you switch it off then on again it goes back to being okay for 2 mins then goes daft again. Plays okay though .?
