Talking Read This If Installing Boot Located Cd Changer!!!

hi guys,
Wow me helping someone else for a change, now theres a thing...anyway go to your local furniture re-upholsterers (spelling?) and get some of the widest velcro they have HOOK SIDE ONLY make sure it is the self adhesive stuff, ok step two place your changer in the boot where you want it installed and figure out where you need to stick your velcro, stick it on, three strips on the back of the changer one on the bottom seems about right give it twenty minutes to stick properly, then press into place against carpet...VOILA the changer is stuck solid to the carpet and I mean solid, with the advantage that if you go away any where or live somewhere dodgy (I will let others discuss that one lol) just unplug and remove, no drilling or screwing required (well screwing is optional, but if you fit the changer first you can do it to the music if your choice....), I know this sounds dodgy but trust me I was told about it by a proffesional ice dealer and it really does work... hope thats a help.
Cheers Fram

Quite agree velcro installs are as good as any, and provide a lot of versatility. Very nearly ended up doing this myself, until we found the little polystyrene cubbyhole near the spare wheel...

Hobbycraft do chunky velcro too...

Hey, all I'm trying to do is isolate where the problem is, and unfortunately I don't have the resources to do this myself...
