| Any opinions on this active subwoofer ? Apparently it will fit under the seat. Halfords are doing it with the wiring kit for £49.99. I don't need huge amounts of bass just a bit to give some fullness to the sound. Is it a Ripspeed PSR-135A Subwoofer from Halfords Price £49.99 Last edited by petecod; 25-01-2008 at 09:31. | Mate you get what you pay for (go for a good brand you recognise, ripspeed are rubbish). Active subs tend to be p1sh anyway. Stuff a small 2 channel amp in the boot with a 10 inch sub under it and your sorted. Cant go wrong with JBL - Good quality gear for the money you pay. ![]() Edit: Boot space. Have a look at this mate: Blaupunkt THb 200A active subwoofer. Active and fits under seat. ![]() Whats your budget?

| Have you considered simply upgrading the main speakers? You'll get a little extra bass and a better over-all sound at a lower price. Better than just a thump thump thump sound all the time. |
