| Well you'd struggle to get Bose, as they only make in car for certain makes and models. Each of their setups is custom to the car, taking into account sound deadning, distortion etc etc. I've always been a fan of Infinity for sound, and Alpine for headunits. I had infinity 6x9's in my old Saxo VTR (Before I grew up) and the sounded great with my Alpine headunit. I had a JVC headunit with Alpine speakers in my last car, a Mk1 Seat Arosa 1.0. The sound was ok, but the build quality of the speakers was shocking. After a few months, at higher volume, they would vibrate. I thought it was againt the door trim, but after screwing them in, filling the gaps with bubble wrap, it was still there. I then discovered the cone had come away from the plastic casing, meaning the air it was pushing etc was escaping and making the vibration. A bit of No more nails cured it, but even that started to come away, and these were not at ear shattering volumes either. So I won't be having anymore. Alpine do decent multimedia screens etc for up front, as do Pioneer. If I decide to replace my speakers in the Superb, it'll be with Infinity I expect. Hope this is of some help!! |

| Get yourself over to here in the forum as they really know there stuff when it comes to car audio. a lot of good installers are registered on there also so will be able to send you to a pro installer thats good if you dont want to install yourself. most of the advice theyll give will be from experience aswell so you will get some sound advice from them.
