Default Tadio and Flat Battery What have I done??

Can Someone Help, I Have Replaced Headunit Wih Ripspeed Ipod Cd/radio And Used The Wiring Adapter. I Also Wired In An Amp And Subwoofer Direct From Battery With In Line Fuse And Used The Blue Wire For The Remote To The Amp.

Came To Start The Car Today And Flat Battery. The Facsia Come Off The Radio But Do I Have To Turn The Radio Off Before Taking The Facsia Off As I Have Heard The Wiring Maybe A Permenant 12v Instead Of An Ignition 12v.

This Could Be A Fault With The Radio Permenantly On With Facsia Off As My Dad Was Driving The Car And He Insists The Radio Came On Even Though The Facsia Was At Home.

Any Help Re Wiring Before I Blast Halfords Over The Radio.

I Have A Fabia 1.4 Yr 2000.

Have a search for radio wiring. You'll see that some wires need to be swapped for the switched live etc. It might be worth checking the connections.

i use to have two switches on my amp, one for the remote and one for the permament power so that there was no doubt the amp was off and was also useful on those journeys when you didnt want you passengers knowing you had a rather loud system in the car.
