Just found out that the newer version of the Tomtom Home Software has a start up screen available showing an Octavia. The software is at TomTom, portable GPS car navigation systems (you may have to set up a login account) There are also some quite good free poi's. This new version of Tomtom home is vastly superior to the old clunky one.

Did a bit more checking after my first post and found that it's quite simple to make your own splash screen for a Tomtom. Instructions are in Tomtom Home.

Can be done on any all-in-one TT. Just browse the device as you would a USB drive, and replace the file calle 'splash' (has no extension). Save your chosen image as (and include the ") "splash" and upload to the tomtom ![]()
