What happens if you put a few Malteasers in those dish things ?

The carpet trimming looks a good match for the standard stuff. Honestly though, I would have rounded the corners off a bit.

Is that a third sub, popping its head out under the amps?

Wouldnt have thought that would be very good for sound distribution but it looks nice.

And Alpine gear is the nuts!

The only reason its been kept squarer looking is for strength, it has supporting struts holding the side pods together, if i round them, i would need to find some way of supporting that curve.

Yes it is a third sub in the floor with a 4th amp running it, its running twin 0 gauge stinger power cables and stinger expert signal at a wopping 60 notes per signal cable. Also a batcap 400 which will dish out 400 amps for 8 seconds solid. This has hit me REALLY hard in the wallet but needed this done right.

No their staying sealed, the false floor also is yet to be sealed but all that will be done once it has been fitted out with dynamat extreme. The reason they are staying sealed is because i only really listen to dance, trance and a bit of hip hop, not really into the drum n bass scene. If i was i would have probably gone for a single 15 in a ported. Having fun with the 0 gauge tho, its like as thick as a babies arm lol, i mean it doesnt look brillient but im going for sound quality not so much " turn up at a crusie n flick the boot up to show everyone what they can steal" lol, once all up and running, their are rear headrest screens being fitted and a flip down screen on the boot door (mainly for my pursposes), then the alpine digital tv reciever and the playstation.

Looks great . I'm thinking of incorporating my sub and amp into side builds like yours, would love to see a how too, or some more "in-progress" pics at least

Arrow Re: What do you think of the new install, be honest.

It looks great, but there's far too much of it! I've got one Alpine 12" in my boot, and I turn it down. I bought the 12" when I had a bigger car and the sound struggled to get through the back seats. I wish I had a couple of punchy 8"s or 10"s now BUT not 3x 12"s...

You can't of possibly matched the bass with mid range and treble! Unless you have 3 speakers in all 4 doors! Which you may well have...

I could never see the point of having so much ICE in a car when you need ear plugs to listen to it, maybe I'm getting old!

Regards,

Chris

Lol i am seeing your point skodalover, but my aim is to try and match the sound all round, i wasnt planning on 3 subs and 4 amps, i had it all in the old astra, and had the dual 2 ohm type r and an mrd 501 up for sale but i was ending up almost giving it away, which i couldnt see the point in, so i encorperated it all into the setup.

I am sorry but, Radio 2 on low , window down, Miltek exhaust, grumbly diesel, re-map, heavy right foot, now that IS music!! It's a car FFS, buy some decent headphones and stay in, or Drive. End Of.
