| I know this has probably been covered many times before, but im looking to replace my door speakers with some better ones, am looking at about 200 quid budget for some components, but they must fit without fouling the door card or window runner. They will be running about 130wrms from an alpine mrv - t420. Any help would be really great. Many thanks. Rob |

| Try the Focal Polyglass 165 Vslims.... A bit pricey but should take a fair amount of abuse. You'll still need autoleads or similar adapters which need to be approaching 40mm deep. The ones for the front doors of a Mk4 Golf are apparently the ones to go for.

| I'm sure there's a sticky about for this somewhere. Ross found a guide on the Pioneer site which told you what fitted in the Fab from their range. Or try searching the ICE and/or Fabia forums... Steve

| How do they sound grant, will they accept about 100-120 rms. Do they push out the door card at all. Last edited by rob_vrs; 30-03-2006 at 18:28. |

| I have Rainbow SLC 265 Kicks with 40mm mdf spacers. They do push the card out a wee bit, but all fixings are now nice and solid, and it helps quash any rattles |

| Hi tom, did you not have much clearance at the back of the magnet. I dont really want any setup that pushes the trim out and fauls the runner, but want something powerful, cant have it both ways tho. |

| I've got JLs VR650s... In the autoleads spacer they almost seem to 'rest' on the window bar AND push the trim out very slightly... maybe 3-5mm. I think the Fabia is a challenge to get good sounds from it. I get mega bass but little midbass and definition. Was thinking of trying my laptop out as an amp. driver just to see if it's even possible to set the EQ properly. I really want to try the Focals or Resonant Audio RE6.5 but erm... dosh is a bit tight right now and it's daft to have another two sets of speaker lying around. J.
