| Knowing sweet FA about anything ICE wise (first time I've ever posted in this section), just wondered if this would slot in where the existing original Fabia stero goes; http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...934914-4878201 Also would it be a plug and play type of job or would it need a bit of electronic know how. If not does anyone know of anything similar that would? Any help advice would be appreciated |

Are there alternatives out there as well (maybe a bit cheaper)? Sorry if they're daft questions but this is the first time ever I've ventured in to ICE territory ![]() | |

| alternatives to the stereo?? not really, in that one unit you get MP3, WMA, DVD(which you can fill with MP3/WMA), films, av inputs, av outputs. it really does do an aweful lot for the money, the RRP on them is £700!!

| You will also need the bit of plastic trim from skoda as its slightly smaller then the standard head unit. |

| i'm always wary(SP) of budget car stereo stuff that i haven't seen myself and played. best thing to do is go play with one and see what you think, where are you? i'm in oxford and you are more than welcome to come and play with the one installed in my car, i am using all of the outputs and all of the inputs so you see it in all its glory. it will output to as many screens as you want with no extra control gear. excellent ![]()

| just thought, if you do want one it might be worth waiting a couple months as a new version is on the horizon. only difference being it has a wide screen that is central so the buttons are one either side and it has a memory card slot. not sure why you would want it though ![]() i have a DVD in ym car at the moment with 57 albums on it along with a few random tracks in the root folder ![]()
