Which AP's were you going to get? I found the guy at Godspeed very difficult to get hold of, I sent a cheque for £1,400 off to him, but then didn't hear off him for nearly 2 weeks! In the end I drove down in person and waited in his workshop till the discs/brackets were finished.....21:00hrs on the Friday night!!

Well worth the wait however!!!

Why is this not in the Jabbasport forum then? Sounds to me like I.P weren't imvolved at all?

I hear they're also good for ds2500 brake pads for the brembo kits.

Probably the same kit you had but just wasen't prepared to be taken for a mug any longer.

Oh and Kent to Wales, not the best journey in the world.

Anyway, all's well that ends well. The Brembo's stop the car just fine.

How was you taken for a mug by me , The payment took weeks and weeks to get to me , and when I made the kit it was lost by the couriers , I decided to send a full refund back to Impossible performance who sent the payment on your behalf ,
As I couldn't get a quick turnaround on more AP calipers as AP are very slow at delivering , I cancelled the order not you , not Impossible Performance , You only found about the refund after you contacted me a week or so after me sending it.

So as regards to you ' not being prepared to be taken for a mug ' is a complete lie , you have not been messed around by me , If I had waited and waited for more calipers off AP , that would have messed you around ,

Ian

You should have let sleeping dogs lie mate but as you insist on dragging this back up, here we go.

I gave IP the wrong name to put on the cheque, I was under the impression you wanted it in the trading name (godspeed) not your own personal account but that wasn't the issue as I clearly stated to you. See being a Contracts manager I tend to right things down and keep good records as they happen. After the cheque episode you faithfully promised the kit would be sent out asap. After a month I decided to ring you, no answer (a taste of things to come) so left message, you didn't ring back. I left several other similar messages, no answer. When I finally got you to answer the phone you stated that the caliper brackets were not up to standard and that you were remaking them but the kit would be going out the following Monday. I phoned on the Thursday for an up date to which you said the courier was in possession of the kit on Monday and that you couldn't understand why they were not delivered. I asked you to ring back with a tracking number for the parcel, no such luck. After nearly 3 weeks of your courier driving round with the kit and various phone calls you still couldn't give me a tracking number. It was at this time I suggested that you send the check back as I didn't believe a word you said anymore (as you had all my money this may have had something to do with the MUG reference). After all this I was still hopeful of getting a Tracking number and seeing the kit, no such luck, all I got was the check back.

Where are my manners I have to say a big thank you for sending the cheque back. As it turns out I phoned Jabba on the Friday morning, by the afternoon I had a set of nice shiny Brembo's, by Saturday they were on the car. The best bit is Jabba cut me a deal and I saved myself over £500...........so THANK YOU!!

PS Gerry if you can find any more spewin errors please report back.

I've often found it difficult to get tracking numbers....

Seems to me this is just another example of people having their favourite tuners/specialists. A lot of them are very small businesses, and this does seem to lead to long delays in many aspects of delivery and customer service. I'm sure we've all heard stories about different tuners from people who've had bad experiences. Then on the other hand we hear eulogies for those same businesses from those who've had good ones. Like all things, it's better if it can be sorted out personally between the parties concerned, in private.
