Tuning by Impossible on Octavia MK1

Just to let the regulars know I am having Impossible changing the TIP, the Turbo to Intercooler and the Intercooler to throttle hose changed. oh and the CAI

And I am well excited. bit of w33 came out

as far as i have seen mike's maps are decent but let him loose with any spanners!

got the car back, those guys are really enjoyable company.

(hmm should i mention there is a noisecoming from the front that never use to be there before?)

Anyway, the dumpvalve is now louder (never thought an air filter would have that effect) and the car seems to have more torque in 4th.

Mike is a genuine nice fella, but the TIP I ordered did not turn up :roll
So when I offered him to come and place it while I am at work he did not hesitate. :thumbs

Overall? Satisfied with what these guys do (so far) and will visit them again (more treats lined up for me) :-D

Update on the metal grinding noise;

I took her back this afternoon after I called to explain the situation. Short notice but still they said 'yeah sure'
it was actually the Turbo to intercooler pipe that was too close to the suspension. Pipe is damaged and suspension seems ok.

His father - who is not his sister - fixed it, Irish method of using a crow bar.

Noise is gone and he could install a fresh new pipe, when I come back for the TIP

(think her name is Sarah??)

Mike does all the servicing on my Octy and my brother Audi S3.
Always a good service and very reasonable priced,but then i am there every 3-4 months for a 10K mile service!!!
I drive nearly an hour to Mike's to get my Octy serviced,its well worth it.

no good, the noise is back, after less than a month. I am gonna ask for the part to be replaced as it is obviously not cut to fit, as per the manufacturer's claims. Not even after trying to convince it using a crow . .

Update:

appointment made, the intercooler tube will be replaced and if he does not have any spare, he will fit the OEM and refund.

So I'll get the ABD TIP installed at the same time. :roll

update:

the intercooler tube has been replaced by a sparkling new one.
TIP has been done as well

Increase in power output is noticeable.

Starting to like these guys!
