Just press the pedal to the metal and let the car find its natural cruising speed

Stock up on V Energy or Red bull (NOT sugar free) if you are going to do the UK to france lap alone.

just been having a play on Google maps,
le chalet reynard - Google Maps
Follow the D974 North West to Malaucene, this is part of the 'Mt. Ventoux' route.

sondalo - Google Maps

Follow the ss38 North from Sondalo, keep going till you reach Stelvio,

zell am see - Google Maps
from zell am see follow 311 south to junction with Glocknerstrasse (Wald), this thin ribbon of road will be our passage over the Alps and into Austria

swmbo as turned white and ordered me to get bigger brakes fitted

Well it looks at the moment like it is just the six of us I will post details of the hotels we are staying at when they are booked, and if anyone wants to join us independantly at a later date they will be welcome. Please note that the itinerary as now changed to include an extra night in Cannes making Day 3, Sunday, a day of rest

No, won't have a firm price till I give firm numbers, catch 22, I am very hopefull that even with the extra night it will be sub £400 for the people I am booking for as a group. Obviously the rest of the trip, spend, food, ferry, fuel, road tolls, etc are in the lap of the gods, the French, the Swiss, etc etc.
