Default Geneva 2005

It's a bit late I know, but who would be up for a long weekend at the Geneva motorshow. It is on between the 3rd and the 13th March, also depending on if it is open that weekend, going into Germany and the Nurburgring???

approximate costs to follow.

Geneva is quiet a drive, will take the best part of 1 day and use 1 - 1.5 tanks each way. The only time I have filled up with fuel twice in one day was driving back from Laussanne which is just the other side of Geneva.

If you drive into switzerland you will also need to purchase a swiss road tax to drive on their roads. These are compulsory and are sold at the border and back then cost about 30 GBP I think. They are valid until the end of the calendar year, so if you go back you dont need another one.

That said, I am thinking about it although I may fly. The expo is a short hop from the airport and you can get there and back in one day.

Manny, what WrightyRS and I were thinking is if it coincides with the first weekend the ring is open, go there as well, hence the long weekend.

That could be a good plan, I am already keeping my eyes pealed for the opening times.

It is also looking to work out cheaper than flying too, as they all seem to want over £200 just for the flights, including the 'budget' airlines

Manston is
http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.c...e=100000&lang=
there
Very close to london, infact closer than maidstone - not

However still closer than getting a speed ferry from Dover Eastern docks

Could i ask a favour of anyone who goes, could they visit the smart stand and get some photos of the brabus for four?

177bhp, 0-60 in 7 seconds and 134mph top speed from a 1.5 petrol - just want to see what they really do with it because i've only really seen teaser photos
