Ich bin halbes Deutsch und mein ist schlect auch. We need a Carsten.

Would be nice just to book half a dozen rooms, then we can Skoda-convoy to the ring.

My standards are lower than most, but a decent B&B at what you think is quite good value is fine by me. (and I'm sure by others too)

If you need to financially reserve, I'll happily set you right.

Here's me interfering and I'm not even going.

I'd really advise against staying in Bonn, it's a fair way from the Ring and then you've got the stress of navigating through a major city.

As previously suggested, Cochem is really nice and has a plentiful supply of hotels/restaurants and is within 20 mins from the Ring along a really nice route. Also, as Cochem is larger than the local Ring villages, there's more chance of you all being together.

I have stayed in Cochem a few times, when Adenau & Nurburg are full. The only hotel I can remember is the Panorama which was very nice.

Alex, as with Jason, you hum it and I'll sing it, roughly translated as you book i and I'll pay you straight off. Happy to do bank transfer, cheque, paypal or even hard wonga!

Thanks for sorting this

Cochem looks nice.

Hopefully it will be relatively empty with guests considering whats going on on the GP circuit at the ring.

Hope this link works

No offence to anyone on here, but with this not being quite the same as a uk meet, it needs financial commitment in a non-refundable way. I'm happy to do that. I've already booked the fri & mon off work, but am wondering with such an early start on the friday, maybe I should think about having half of thursday off too? It sounds like we're all meeting near Calais/Dunk at around 10am/11am.

More time for ring-action though! (NO misquoting )

Last time I drove there I didn't bother with these things. Perhaps it might be worth me taking something this time around though? Want to try and keep car weight to a minimum
