WOOOOT!

Great weekend. Almost found the legs on the mongrel, and although no laps of mine were timed properly, I reckon after going out with Gary who put down a sub 10, I'm pretty sure I did too. It's amazing what a good driver can do with a "crap car" EH STEVE!?

I is back now too and in one piece and I didn't get lost

Just slurping on a can of Jupiler as I browse the piccies of me chasing that Porsche

Fantastic few days, I think driving round the ring for the first time is right up there with losing your cherry

Chaps, I'll just copy paste what I've just posted on 911uk.com
As Steve said, the convoy down was rather and the sound of those Challenge Stradales was just - especially when fitted with a custom-made titanium exchaust some more!

Convoy down to the ring...

Shame about the glare, reflections and strange colours. I would have taken the photos with the window down, but it would have been a bit breezy considering our brisk progress

And as much as I hate to congratulate Will (he's a bouncy tigger when he's calm ), here's a quote from 911uk

Quote:
We enjoyed the company and you certainly surprised us with the speed of the Skoda's. The little yellow one shocked me
Quote:
Nice to have met Colin, tfboy and Nik too. I was quite impressed by the ease with which the Skodas kept up with our rather quick convoy.
Good effort, Will

Yeah, and it was left behind my passenger seat when I did some laps. Cost me at least 20 seconds around the Ring I reckon!

Cheers Chris. Yeah, I did. The ring shots were with the biggy. All convoy shots were with the cheap kit lens

Looking at mw-sportfoto.de and they charge 25 euro for a high resolution file of your car without their logo in I'm in the wrong business. When I was at Breidscheide, I had some friendly German chaps ask me which website they should go to to buy my photos. Of course, I said I'd just post on *plug* briskoda, and when I said it was a free Skoda website, they were shocked and couldn't believe it!

Have to admit that the ring is a fantastic venue to take shots - purely because apart from the automotive porn there, the scenery is beautiful

Steve
I was lucky enough to blag a passenger ride around the Ring in one, absolutely fecking awesome

That lap was slightly marred by the sight of a dark green Porsche 993 Turbo spin in front of us and hit the armco broadside (very hard ). Looking on the bright side though, it did have German plates!
