Cool Skoda Tour

Just wondrering if anyone has been on the Skoda Tour.

Just found a web site about and it appears that each year a load of owners from all over Europe meet up for a week of eating, drinking, football, factory tour and Skoda driving.

Sounds like fun and I fancy going if anyone else is up for it could be a good laugh a drive out to the Czech Republic.

Now were is my Czech phrase book?

As long as they have copious amounts of Staropramen on tap - I'd be up for something like this next year.

Not every year in CZ next year 2004 in Denmark, I have been going for quite a few years, the 2005 tour is likely to in either Slovakia or Poland, its down to the countries proving there case to the International commitee. It returns every few year to CZ, where it was held in 2003. Have been attending the tours driving to CZ and other countries for many years in numerous cars including estelles, rapids and favorits.

The tour is organised by the various Skoda owners clubs in Europe officially recongnised, including Denmark Germany England,Russia, Poland,Sweden, CZ & Holland.
I join other owners from the Skoda Owners Club GB attending the tours.

John

Oooh - Denmark - getting mullered in Copenhagen sounds good to me.

PS: Not all my holidays revolve around beer, OK, before someone directs me toward alcoholics anonymous.

Most of the best holidays involve beer at some stage though.
Just think of all the Danish bacon - may even get a chance to run over Whigfield!!!!

John,

If you have any more information about the event, or a point of contact, could you drop me a line please.

I quite like that song...I also like the fact it was sung by a blonde in a towel, but then I was at an impressionable age when it was released.

Pretty sure I've still got the single somewhere...

Damn straight I was, and no regrets either! What more could you want from a CD than 6 remixes of the same song?

Apart from a decent cover picture...

I'm with Rob on this one, although I never bought the single!

(blonde, danish, cute, likes to walk around half naked - works for me! )

I think she was actually tone deaf - everything she did was synthesized... IIRC

and I was also impressionable enough, but if I was that bad, I'd be buying every Rachel Stevens, Shakira, Christina Aguilera, J Lo, Beyonce single that ever came out... :o

I've already suggested something like this in another thread. Might be worth considering if we can get a few more interested

As for Czech phrasebooks, try learning Klingon, trust me its easier
