Default Alright from Glasgow.

Hi there how you all doing?

Looking to get a new Skoda VRS in June, or sooner if i can get rid of my current car.

So if anyone can point me in the right direction for tuning a Skoda in the Glasgow or Scotland area it would be much appreciated.

Cheers and speak to you soon.

Hello, there's loads of scottish guys here, a lot of them use Star Performance in Kirkcaldy for performance mods. I used them for servicing, seemed good to me.

Hey welcome to the site. Like yourself I am in the process of looking for a new car and have decided to get a Fabia Vrs. Shall be keeping an eye on this thread to see what Garage(s) are recommended as I am also from the Glasgow Area.

Good luck with the car hunting.

Hi and welcome I collect my Octavia vrs on Saturday and cannot wait. I had considered having it remapped at Star Performance so decided to get a insurance quote for it via Confused.com, only one insurer would consider insuring me and at a cost of £1400 That's £1050 more than I'm paying for it standard so maybe I'll not bother hehe

Dont worry that the new Fabia is coming out this year, the vRS version will be a year or two behind it so the residuals will hold for a while,

And another vote for taking a wee trip to Star Performance, Jim and Co will have you right as rain in no time

Welcome to the forum. Good to see another Glasgow member. Like the rest of the guys I'd recommend Star Performance too, and also St. Andrews Skoda for anything dealer. My dad has bought 2 Octavia's from them and I've pestered them a god few times and they have been top notch, both for servcing and customer service.

£1400

Mine (from Adrian Flux) is £350, all mods declared . Four years NCD.

I am, however, an old fart of 49
