| Hi there, Currently own a Clio 172 Cup but for various reasons I'm looking at getting a Furby VRS. My local dealer has one: 54 Reg Red 800 miles No extra option For £11,100. This sounds like an ex demo car but I might go and test drive it. Really hoping to get one a bit cheaper tbh. Has anyone else on the forum made the move from Clio 172 > Fabia VRS? I'd be keen on knowing their impressions. Standard Vs Standard. Might go book a test drive. ![]() |

| There are a few happy ex 172 owners on here. £1200 off list for 800 miles on the clock sounds ok.Think some have been getting new ones for around that figure though |

| Yeah To be fair my Clio's never gone wrong and needed warranty work. Also it rattles aren't really that annoying . I'm just looking around for something cheaper to run and something that’s more comfy. For me the VRS seems the perfect solution. Clio's insurance is £590 and the VRS is £390 and of course there are other benefits. I just really can't justify owning a group 17 car for the amount of driving I do at the moment. Also the Cup was really a "weekend" car and I will be using the VRS all the time once I change jobs. I'd really love an octvia vrs but for me the insurance quite a lot! I know the standard car is gonna seem heavy after the fly weight clio (unless I'm able to use its mid range punch - which I doubt because of the area of the dealership). Although there is a massive long hill to drive up. I'm sure it quick enough for anyone though. At the moment I intend to keep it standard but doesn't everyone say that lol! I've seen Speedo videos of jabba'd and AMD'd cars and they sure do look like they'd annihilate my Cup!! Also what the standard stereo and speakers like? Last edited by adamf; 23-08-2005 at 09:12. |

| My local dealer did have a Silver Pre Reg on an 05 plate with about 10 miles for £10995. Not sure if it' still there.

| Adam, as Stu said, if you're near Surrey and free this Sunday, pop along to our rolling road day. You'd be more than welcome to have a ride in mine which has a bhp-generating smiley face air freshner in it ![]()
