Default fabia vrs ltd

Hi all,
just took delivery of my baby vrs ltd, as soon as i drove it up the road it seemed to like miss fire a few times between gear changes, phoned dealer who said it was normal as its a brand new car, has any one else had this, the problem does seem to be getting less as time goes on tho (71 miles on clock now)
Cheers

Hello and welcome Niknak

Possibly it is due to the fact the car is new, give it a few hundred miles to start to settle and log a call with the dealer(you probably already have) just for peace of mind.
From what i read it will take several thousand miles to really bed in.

Shouldn't be miss firing, and other than a tight engine (won't rev as freely as it should/will) the engine should be good to go.

Its not the stutter that has been discussed in the fabia section, for what seems like a lifetim is it?

As mentioned before there is reams of info on the Fabia section on this problem, I too have vRS LE and the stutter, though I would describe it more of a hestitation, especially in traffic or using the gears not just cruising along. I bought mine in May and I'm still trying to get it sorted, in fact I'm meeting the general manager of the dealership tomorrow morning along with a mechanic. To have a go at a 2nd fix!!!
I'll let you know the outcome.
