Default Gidday Guys, just got a pickup

Hey Guys,
Guess the drinks are on me?

Bit about myself, i'm a kiwi, got lost and ending up in staffordshire uk

Like skoda's, think they still underated, so got a 96 1.3 pickup for my good lady so we can do work on our house, cart a bike or 2 around and whatever else i can think of.

Ute is in good general shape, some small dents, has no carpet in it, but seems everything else works.

Will be looking for some info and parts soon, but a time and a place for everything

Enjoy your drinks, look forward to meeting you all,

Nels

Wow Rob!
Not sure who lost? Is stafforshire worst than wellington... not quite sure?
Cant say i like wellington much, but comming from liverpool, it must be bliss!!!( i had a boat called bliss in Auckland, sorry i digress)

Nice Skoda, i know about shipping damage, they think you havent see the car before, so can be as rough as they like with it, had a few with damage, why a skoda? why not the new Holden 6ltr 6spd ute?

I come from Leeds, not Liverpool
But yeah, we love it in Welly. Seems to be one of those things - you either like Auckland or Wellington but not both, cos we weren't too keen on Auckland in the time we spent there (only a few days admittedly).

I made a decision to bring the Skoda with me about 12 months before we moved. The cost to ship was about the same as the loss in depreciation would have been. So I kept modding in the meantime

I'd definitely have one of those utes - the one with about 400bhp and twin exhausts! Maybe in future, when the Skoda retires and I've saved up many thousands of dollars! But don't get the wrong idea, I'm planning a long and happy relationship with the Skoda!
