Default Hello from Alaska

Hello everyone

I am in Fairbanks, Alaska and I own, and am currently restoring a 1959 Skoda Felicia. I have accumulated most all of the parts I need from Cz and Germany and am now reassembling.

If I look at you from the other direction can I pretend you are our most Easterly?

Hello and good luck with the project! Is it the Felicia cabriolet (hmmm... maybe not in Alaska...)? Our local Skoda stealer has a red and white cab in the showroom. It's in a rather bad state (which doesn't improve confidence for the company) but nevertheless a beauty.

Hello - and welcome to Briskoda.

It would be good to hear a bit of the history of the car, and how it came to be in your possession in Alaska. I can't imagine there are many of them there. Perhaps a few photographs as you go along would be interesting too.

Keep us posted please.

Santa Monica, California: W 118°29'
Fairbanks, Alaska: W 147° 43'

Alaska is even west of Hawaii

that is, unless you choose Lady E's relativistic approach...
