| Greetings to all fellow Skoda Owners, I've had my 1998 facelift Felicia for about five years now and will soon be tuning it. I'm looking for a really nice but not too gawdy bodykit and wondered if anyone has modified a similar car and might be able to offer some advice? Its the 1.3mpi version and now I have full protected,NCB the insurance is, at last, reasonable! Would love more power, wondered if a chip change is the way to go or drop in a new lump? would love a VR6 motor in it, is this possible? Looking forward to chatting to you all soon |

| Hi ya. Chip tuning on the 1.3, not really an option as far as I know and it wouldnt net much on its own. Exhaust, filter, cam might net you a bit but its going to get pricey for the results. Easiest way to get a big bang for buck would be an engine swap but nothing will bolt straight in so it means getting creative with a welder. Body kit wise try http://www.jhmbuttco.com/ they have a fair bit listed. Best advice if you want something quick i'd look at trading it in. But hey im sticking with my 1.6 MPi for now and plan on swapping it someday, maybe for a 1.6 or 1.4 16v so there are mad people about ![]()
