Hello ...Just bought a Fabia VRS

Hello ........Bought a Fabia VRS on Sunday 14th Aug.
Will take delivery on 3rd Sept.
I have read that the tyres do not work well in the wet.
Can anyone confirm and tell me what the problem is, are they very slippy in the wet?
I'm a bit disappointed if it will be dangerous in the wet.
It is fitted with Bridgestone tyres I think.

Welcome

Depends what tyres are on it when you get it.

Suggest you ask the question again, when you know what tyres are on it.

Only worry if it has Michelins fitted as they're a bit poor in the wet. They all came with them originally but no it seems to be either contis or bridgestones.

What are Skoda up to?

I ordered mine on 16 June and I'll be lucky if I get mine before yours. And you are only waiting 2 and a half weeks. :@

Probably due to the options you've specified?

Congratulations on your choice. Regarding the tyres, i have Michelins and have never really had a problem in the wet. Apparently though, the Bridgestones are superior in the wet thought if you like to "Push it"

Check what is fitted when you pick it up M8, on Furby's it seem's to be whatever truck the eastern european mafia hijacked at the time. My 05 has Conti's on as standard for example. They are reasonable in the dry but no great shakes in the wet.
