| Hello everyone, This week I picked up a new Fabia VrS - silver ! I've had loads of cars including 7 or 8 Subaru's (in fact, still have a new model Outback 2.5 SE) and I'm very impressed with the Fabia. It reminds me of my very first Subaru back in early 90's - one of the very first Impreza Turbo's in the country - except for the handling. The straight-line urge is irresistable and I'm old enough now not to bother about flinging it around corners on 2 wheels ! My VrS is absolutely standard. I'm not bothered about chipping it or modifying it (too old for all that....!) but the only thing I would like is cruise control which seems to be a bit of problem for the 05 models. Dealer in Bury couldn't (can't) fit it Doing a search on this forum doesn't seem too conclusive so if anyone knows of a place where cruise can be fitted around the Manchester area I would appreciate details. Anway, a bit long winded for the first post but - hello again !! jdc ![]() |

| Thanks for the welcome ! I'm in a good position of having a Fabia VrS and a Subaru Outback. A pretty perfect combination really !! Looking to put some miles on the VrS for commuting along the M60 and keeping the Outback for family/rugby/kids/tip use (not in that order exactly.....) jdc |

| Welcome ![]() Once you have the 1000 miles run in, then you will really be able to see how flexible the little rocket is on the M60 ![]()
