Default Hello

Hi I am new to the world of skoda. I have just received my new octavia VRS in racing blue with the factory upgrade of big wheels and jumbo box etc. As extra,s I got cruise and xenon lights(brill). Must admit it feels quite pokey but its only 3 weeks old. I had an accord ictdi for 3 years and loved it but found the new model was going out of my price range. i did look at the Octavia VRS before I got the Honda but bottled out. I must admit i love the car and even my son wants to borrow it for the weekend. he used to have a clio cup 172 so that says something. One thing I would like to ask is how do you get the aerial off. I have tried unscrewing it but it will not come off. Does it have some kind of captive nut. The reason i ask is that soemone has already tried to nick it.

Default Re: Hello

welcome to briskoda, your aerial is ment to be a anti theft one mate, just unscrew it and give it a sharp tug and it will come out, so much for it being anti theft eh!

Hope your enjoying the car and try and keep the keys hidden from your son.

Cheers

Davy
