Help needed on Interior Trim

Please can anyone help me. I have recently bought a 3 year old Skoda Fabia 1.4. The front passenger seat belt is sticking. Can anyone tell me how I remove the door pillar trim. I would be most grateful for any help.

You say that the seat belt is sticking. Do you mean it is slow to retract?
I would imagine that the 'B' post pillar shroud is simply held on with clips if no screws are visible...beware they may have plastic covers over them.
Be as gentle as is reasonably possible when prising the trim off though, trim panels are notorious for breaking and can be quite expensive to replace.

Had to do a repair on a current shape Toyota Celica a couple of years ago. Car was only a week old, and the customer brought it in for a door rattle or something. The mech. took the panel off and ragged it a bit too much in the process. You guessed it, it cracked. They TOLD me I HAD to fix it, as a replacement was going to cost them over £600!!!

Many thanks for your help. The seat belt catches on retraction. If I push the bottom of the door pillar trim, the seat belt retracts completely. On inspection of the door pillar trim the bottom half of the trim has a moulded hook in the plastic and is secured on the joint of the top half by a screw. The top half of the moulding also has a moulded plastic hook and the bottom section of the top half is secured by the same screw. I can not see any access to this screw unless it is hidden somewhere behind the seat belt strap. This is the problem.

Will have a look at mine in the morning and get back to you. Trim can be a bit of a mystery sometimes It may have been off in the past for some reason or other, and not located properly upon re-installation.

If you bought it from a dealer..take it back..let them break and replace!
