|  Hi Group Hello, Just bought a 'W' reg Octavia 2.0l slxi today. Car wont be ready till next week as the dealer is getting it MOT'd and sorting the engine management as the light is on. Its done 64k and has full Skoda history. What is the reason likely to be for the ECu fault, what is the Cam belt change interval on the 2.0 and do the tensioners need changing as well or is that just on teh smaller engines? Answers appreciated. Cheers! |

| Re: Hi Group Hello and welcome The engine managment light can reflect any one of a number of possible problems, being a global indicator - your garage will hopefully read off the codes and be able to work out what's amiss. It might be an idea for you to post again in the Octavia forum. Regards Mo
