| Apart from saying you've some tasty motors there - vRS, brill motor in a small package, but - as I always say - don't buy a new car 'cos of the 'immediate' depreciation. To save me time I'm pasting in a portion of what I posted to someone just tonight. Have had a vRS for two weeks now. 04 15,800 miles. 3 months Skoda warranty, 1 years dealer warranty inc AA. £8,495 - drives like / feels like new. FSH oil changes at 6.5k and 12.5k and brake fluid change at 12.5k. 3 tiny chips on bonnet, 1 light scratch on glovebox, slight scuffing on one alloy wheel, faulty CD player being replaced under warranty. i.e. stuff you could mostly incur within 1 week of ownership. Saving of £4,000 approx - did similar with old car i.e. 20k, 1yr old £5,500 off list price. Would never buy a new motor - unless I won the lottery etc. because of the 'immediate' depreciation. |

| hello and welcome , don't think the new model Fabia will have a VRS version until late 2007 or early 2008 , so you will have to have the current model there are plenty of suspension mods available , Jabba rear ARB , Eibach -25mm lowering springs are the usual parts people fit as for remaps , have a look in the Fabia forum as there are a few companies doing them , Jabba , JBS , etc

| If you do go the second hand route, the one agmorley is selling is a good price now - he wants what the dealers have offered him, and you can be pretty sure they will have it back up on their forecourt for £1-1.5k more pretty quick! http://www.briskoda.net/forums/items...rs-sale/65391/
