|  Hi from New Zealand VRS I have a Black Combi vRS series 1. I am about to buya combi wagon for my wife either a series 1 4x4 or a 2.0 petrol combi. What would you think was the best buy? Will the 1.8 turbo handle 91 octane petrol? |

Welcome  For NZ roads I'd say the 4x4  Do NOT put 91 in your vRS - I know someone whose wife filled his Golf GTI (similar engine) with 91 and it turned out to be quite expensive to make right again! The 1.8t should ideally be run on 98 Where in NZ are you? I'm in Wellington. But I flashed a black RS Combi near Hamilton last weekend
