Hi Folks,

Thanks for all the welcomes!

It reply to some queries, I live in Celbridge, but work in Dublin.

The Octavia is due in mid-May....

The decision to buy was forced by the arrival of my daughter (she's two months now) and the fact that my two door coupe wasn't up to the job. I looked at a few "family cars" that where too dull by half, test drove a year old Octavia loved the car, but not the deal and bought a new one.

Paddy

PS Anyone want to buy a two year old Renault Megane Coupe (old style) 1.4???? See http://motors.nicemove.ie/vehicleDet...hicleID=164885

Hi Paddy,

By the sound of it you'll need plenty advice on how to keep the white seats clean with the new born.

I hope you can come to some meets and meet everyone else

I'm hoping her car seat will cover the white cloth and I'll only have to clean down the leather

Hopefully, I'll make it along once things calm down a bit at home.

Actually one question for the other vRS owners, any suggestions on keeping the carpets clean - is there any coatings/products I can apply to them when they're new to make them easier to clean?

I use Vanish soap and a cloth ever couple of months to freshen them up.

n terms of protection check this stuff out
I have used it on floor/seats, but not sure if its still available.
