Hello a6stu

Are you finding your way around the site now? If there's anything you don't understand, you can post here again or into the "Help and Feedback" forum.

That said, someone will always be happy to respond wherever you post - well unless you ask about how to nail jelly to the ceiling, because I don't thnk anyone's come up with a answer for that one yet...

Welcome from me also
Mo

Thumbs up Re: It's Seaside Stu again

a6stu here again. Sorry for the delay. Thank's to everyone who took the time to reply to my first rambling's.You seem a friendly lot. Cheer's. My lovely Barbara also say's "Hello" to everyone.
To Sarah, Hi, in reply to your question, I found the "Fab" + "Tunit" box quite good but having no previous experience of this sort of thing ????.It certainly filled out the torque very well and did indeed increase the overall driveability with also a decrease in fuel consumption when driven in "flat cap" mode.I am a little disappointed to learn from "Daniel" @ Bromley's that they want either £60 odd quid for a new "loom" or £414 odd for p/x with a "laptop tune" for a new box" fitted", which is quote's "much improved" and"smoother" than my example. Any comment's ???.I'm thinking of going the "remap" route and possibly passing on the "TUNIT" to a "good home". What is your experience ??.

Hi Stu,

I am most dissapointed to here that your new car is not quick enough for you! I thought you were a Sunday driver all week!!!:

I think you'll get a better response to your question if you start a new 'thread' in the 'New Octavia' section of 'maintenance & performance' - if you need any help give me a call and I'll talk you through it.

Hi Mate
Is this not the new didgital tuning box?
We have been out in a Mk5 Golf with the Tunit box and I was megga impressed with the resuls on this.
Could possibly help if you go to Tunit direct and let them know.
