Default Jammed closed driver's door lock

Help please - in trying to establish why door didn't buzz when opening door I managed to flick the lock mechanism closed. I can't now open it and therefore I can't shut the door. I just can't see what to do. Can anyone help urgently please? Dennis

you should be able to persuade the lock mechanism back with a big screw driver. it will be very stiff though.

Great news (for me at least). Hitting it with an Iriosh screwdriver worked. I'm back in business and a happy bunny. Many grateful thanks for your help.

Hiya. This wouldn't be a Fabia 2, would it?
