|  Octavia coming on Friday! Hello, my first post here. I have taken the plunge and bought a 3 month old Octavia vRS, take delivery on Friday. Really looking forward to getting the car but need to arrange insurance, currently with Direct Line but looking to shop around, Any recommendations for cheap insurance? Cheers Brian |

| welcome  Which insurance company is good varies so much based on who you are, where you live, etc..... so just shop around.... Having said that, a lot of people say confused.com is good... and of course you could try Chris Knott or the people I'm with - Adrian Flux. Have fun with your car when it arrives anyway

| Direct line were quite good for my VRS I think it was £465 fully comp with protected no claims.....but they dont like modifications |

| Bell Direct a branch of Admiral are cheap but again they don't like mods  You could try the insurance centre on autotrader website they do a search of many companies and list them in order cheapest firstLast edited by Gordon; 04-10-2005 at 20:00. |

| Depends on what you want to do with the car, if you want to "mod it" then try Greenlight or Chris Knotts Elephant was always cheap for my Saxo VTS as was Bell Direct
