HELLO NEWBE ME JUST SAYING A BIG HELLO TO ALL THE WISE SKODA DRIVERS
I JUST BOUGHT MY 1st SKODA LAST SAT ITS A FABIA VRS 2005 IN BLACK
SEEMS LIKE A GOOD CAR (fingers crossed lol) but i'll keep u all posted
HAD TO BUY IT AS IT SEEMED TO BE THE BEST CAR FOR THE MONEY AND RUNNING COSTS(girlfriend wants to learn to drive group 9 insurance is good)
THINKING OF REMAP/EXSHAST/K&N FILTER (whats it like on fuel etc?)

blue suzuki belino 1.6 gs
blue suzuki swift sky 1.0 (why me?)
pug 309 1.9 gti white
pug 205 1.9 gti blue
pug 1.6 gti white
audi 80 1.6 (square shape)

7 minis (inc 1480 full race prep'ed 0-100 in ahhhh secs lol)
3 metros (laugh at me i understand)
2 mg metros(as above)
1 mg metro turbo( fun at the time,but as above)

mk2 (cosse engined) escort in burnt orange
mk2 rs 2000
mk2 mexico
mk2 mexico(2.1 pinto engine)
lancia delta hf

about 15 other cars from 1750 maxi-hillman minx etc
IF ONLY I HAD KEPT THEM ALL LOL

hi. and welcome to briskoda... do a search on the fabia section... lots you can do to them mod wise... also check out the irish section for meets...

That's an interesting list of cars you've owned there.

The old Escorts and Peugeots would still be worth having but you did seem to suffer a "bad taste" period with the metros and maestros.

Hopefully your fabia will prove to be one of the better choices.
Most of the people here seem very pleased with theirs

welcome, great list of previous cars there. you should be happy with the fabia but remember its a diesel, cant fault 40mpg round town though
