Question Best Dealer for Octavia Scout

Hello,

I'm wondering who is the best dealer to return a call as I left messages with 2 different Dubin based dealers this week and neither returned my call.

Our company is looking to evaluate the new Octavia Scout as part of our nationwide fleet.

I guess we could deal with the non-dublin dealers even though we are based in Sandyford D18.

Just wondering if you managed to get anywhere with the Skoda Scout? I too rang a dealer in Dublin and again heard nothing back. Have had to go back up north to try and get a test drive of the scout. If any you guys know any dealers doing any specials or deals out there I'd be VERY interested. Ta

Father Jack

The Scout is in very short supply.. in fact there is only one in the country and it belong to Phoenix Motors.

Don't bother trying to get a test drive.. as its permantently away on press launches and dealer functions.

Believe me and BPM will confirm.. If i can't get a test drive.. you have'nt a hope

I have been told by the guys in EURAUTO ( Skoda Ireland ) that the allocation of Scouts for Ireland were approapriated ( robbed ) by the SWEDES. They say we'd be lucky to see any numbers before the end of the year.

BTW..

Spoke to the only dealer worth talking too abount the SCOUT and he said that it will not be worth the money.. " Not a real 4x4 " were his words. He said you'd be better buying the 2.0 TDI 140 estate 4x4... good advise from a man who has a fabia wrc parked in his workshop

Just got a message from Doc9, finally got the chance to check out the Scout and try it out. Seems very impressed by it, I'm sure he'll give us a full run down on it.
