See below for updates, octav.ed, Dr. Octavia & mgpd can you please reconfirm. This issue still is numbers, we need a MINIMUM of 10 for the Kilkenny Karting as he WILL NOT TAKE LESS. I rang today, after a bit of haggling he let me provisionally book it but that could change if he gets someone else. So guys if this is gonna happen we need to get the numbers...deposits and fully book within next couple of days otherwise this gets knocked on the head, I appreciate its hard to make sure but like that the track also needs to be sure of the business.

@ Octav.ed.....any of your buddies from our Speedway day interested in a night in kilkenny ?
@ mgpd ....will you just be karting or is SWMBO going for a spin ?
@ bpm...could we interest Cathal ?

Can we do the Endurance race? That would be great, having to change drivers and all that would be great crack. I did a endurance race a few years ago in England in a racing kart and it was so much fun.

Spoke to Gaff earlier and we are now thinking of having the night out after the go karts in Dublin instead as that may be easier for a lot of people and a lot easier to organise. We could just book a restaurant and then a night on the town, what do people think?

Ed - you can stay round mine as I know your far away! Plenty of parking too

Like Dr.Octavia said we are going to come back for a night out in Dublin...or surroundings now. It gives the chance for people not going karting to come out. I hope thats okay with everyone.

Any suggestions for somewhere to eat....bearing in mind we could have 20-30 people as a few SWMBO will also be out.

@Lightnin, not sure about Endurance...I don't mind if people want to, but I'd think it would be better crack everyone racing against everyone.

Suggestions for meal (we'll have to bear in mind a place we can book for Numbers),
Wagamamas in town
The Lemon Grass, at Ark Bar in Liffery Valley (bar open till 2pm I'm told)
TGI's Stephans Green (I might be able to arrange a table there without much hassle)

Re-deposits, if your around give me a shout, if I'm not at home or nearby we can arrange somewhere to meet. I'd appreciate getting them asap as I don't think this track will take delays.

So there will be Thunder & Lightening at the Briskoda Christmas meet this year

Doubt I will be able to make this meet. Baby Kate is a bit of a handful, and it's a bit soon to bring her to Dublin for a night out.

The owner is being a bit awkward (actually a pain in the ****), I contacted him today to say I had the numbers and wanted a day or so to get deposits, he's bascially wanting the deposit NOW (I was a bit ****ed off by his message he left). No offence to anyone but everytime we organise outings theres dropouts at last minute and its only a matter of time before I get caught out and have to foot the bill so hence the reason I want to get funds before booking.
With the attitude on the phone today, if its available then so be it...if not then we'll sort something else .

So bascially the sooner I get the deposits the sooner I can book it. I'm working tonight, I should be about between 4ish & 7 tomorrow.....give me a ring first.
