Re: Irish Christmas Meet

This is an endurance race isn't it? No placings afaik. Just a very long track session until the time runs out of the kart breaks (more likely )

No but theres no point in better guys starting at the front and stretching a massive lead straight away and getting bored racing on there own.....more interesting to put quicker guys starting at the back and work there way forward. They may not want to put us in that order but theres feck all they can do if everyone gets in the kart in that order and draggggggggssssssssss their heels for the first lap. I dunno maybe they would let us have a grid of that order, it'll definitely make things more interesting.

I see where you are coming from. But don't forget Padraic has won the last few events (or come very close to it) - Put him down the bottom too

Ah I forgot about the aul fox......position changed.

@pdhealy, your on the road behind bpm now......revenge is sweet (for rating you up), late on brakes into first corner maybe....that would help the rest of us aswell

Anyone else see any issue with the grid...shout now, as I did it roughly on what I remember from previous races.

Looks good to me, hopefully my ankle will last the race. I busted it up good playing footie last week.

On other news I sold my furby, sorry to see it go but the fuel consumption was killing me!

The fuel consumption? Wasn't it a 1.4 ?

Re: Irish Christmas Meet

All is fair in love and karting Gaff!

It looks like a wet race so that should make things very interesting, although with the amount of rain this weekend, power boating around the track is a distinct possibility.

Any handicap issues for those of us that practise at Silverstone or the Nurburgring??

Na, I reakon the thoughts of you coming behind now should be enough for him to ditch it into first corner .

Regarding that night, what time do you reakon we should have food at ?

I was going to go Wagamama's but a friend can book us into TGI's so that would mean we all get at same table whereas the other place could be a bit broken up.

So can those of you who read this give me a time they think might be appropiate (I'm suggesting 7pm) and a quick YES/NO to going for the food so I can give numbers (btw those who Don't give me name who may end up coming might end up not on same table...it being a Sat night and places being busy so it'll be harder to accomodate). Those who have mates coming can you also shout for them aswell please .
