| Well, very reluctantly I've decided to put the above up for sale ![]() My insurance renewal is coming up about £250 extra to have the above (I'm 23, 1yr NCB and 2 accidents ), and with a remap nowhere near the realms of affordability in the short term, the 12 months after 6th June my car will be remaining standard. The intake cost me £275+fitting, and the DV is £140+ fitting. So this is a real opportunity to get the best TFSI intake on the market, and a quality piece of Forge engineering too, fitted by me, for a bargain price. ![]() This is the VF intake, photo of my car! ![]() and this is the forge DV ![]() Both items are pretty much as new, and have been on the car for 3k miles. Should these not sell, they will be going in a box in the garage for refitting next June. ![]() |

| Talk about knee jerk reaction Tom! There is absolutely no need whatsoever to remove your Forge DV, no insurance company can turn you over for that and as for the VF Intake I have a cunning plan that could mean you keep it on the car too! ![]()

| so £500 on the bits is perfectly fine but £250 extra on the insurance is far too much?? get a grip tom and either pay the extra or keep the bits as you'll only buy them again if you manage to keep the car long enough.

| Tom I would try Adrian Flux first then give Chris Knott a ring as they promise to beat by 10%.

| I like courdroys ![]() Will give Chris Knott a bell. ![]() The thing is, the above mods don't really make much sense running standard software, and a remap is alteast 12 months off, so the money would come in handy ![]() |

![]() Are you having new/next car thoughts already and useing this as an excuse to sell them? Have to agree with Bengie and co. on this one - makes no sense at all to sell £500 worth of parts because your insurance has increased by £250 | |
