| in my mk4 golf, the front speakers where the same size but if yours is the same as mine was the rear speakers are in the rear doors and will be bigger than the octavia rear speakers.

| Do these fit the front doors without having to cut the membrane? Would be interested but have to wait for my bill on tuesday. Getting a ton of work done on car. |

| The actual depth of the front speaker is no greater than the OE items, so no, you don't have to cut the membranes. BUT.. a three sided cut, leaving the top uncut (imagine a square but only cut the left, right and bottom) has been proven to increase the bass capability of both OE and aftermarket front speakers which are designed to be a straight swap, without increasing the risk of water ingress. Doing a search with confirm this. ![]()

| Once I get the bill for my work on the car tomorrow ill take them once its not too much. Just didn't want to cut the membrane. But if it ok to do it then ill have them. |
