OOh that looks nice. My sister is looking for a laptop and that looks like a decent spec. Does it have a card reader? and how many USB ports does it have?

The machinewas originally loaded with XP Media Centre 2005 but I bought an original Vista x64 Home Premium. As the CPU is 64 bit It can run a 64bit Operating system if you dont know about 32/64 bit then basically it runs all the stuff vista 32 bit does but has the advantage of running 64 bit apps natively as well as using 4gb +ram.

I know a bit of 32/64 stuff. But the 32bit versions still seem the more popular ones. Not to bothered about the 64bit version to be honest. I'm off home. I'll mention this one to my sister and will let you know. How far in the midlands are you?

TBH i find the 64 bit versions less crash and virus prone. HP make 64 bit drivers available for their laptops too so theres no reason to choose a 32bit one over 64 Im in Nottingham

-with the standard hp install of xp media centre you probably get a dvd player and virus checker and some other things, im not too sure as the first thing i did was wipe it off and install vista, I still have the xp recovery cds if you need to go back.

Yes I have had it a short time but Ive just purchased my first house so can have a big quad core desktop whereas at the moment im living with my parents so space is an issue. Im a games player at heart and laptops are not that powerful for leading edge games yet. well I said £360 but make me an offer if you want to you never know... Like i said before its in mint condition and theres a neoprene case for it too i forgot to mention, perfect for use with vagcom
