Small+Silent "Bookshelf" PC for sale

Hi..

As above i have a PC for sale that would be ideal as a media-centre PC, or cheap desktop machine.. i used it originally as a server/bittorent box and its now surplus to requirements.

Its based on a Asus Pundit-P1 chassis - as pictured except mine is silver:

Im looking for £150. (Postage or collection tba)

For your money you will get the following
Asus Pundit P1 system:
SPECIFICATIONS:
Socket 939 barebones chassis, 2 x DDR RAM sockets, Asus A8N8L motherboard, Nvidia Nforce 4 chipset, GeForce 6150 integrated graphics, 3.5in internal drive bay, 5.25in internal drive bay, 2 x PCI slots, CompactFlash slot, SD/MMC/Memory Stick slot, 4 x USB 2, FireWire, miniFireWire, Gigabit Ethernet, serial, parallel, 7.1 high-definition audio, digital S/PDIF out, DVI, D-SUB, Dimensions: 90 x 356 x 285mm (WDH)

And built up with the following:

Socket 939 AMD Opteron 146 running at 2.0ghz
1gb DDR3200 ram
320gb 7200rpm hdd
DVD-burner

The machine is running Ubuntu 8.04 at the moment which runs very well... as does windows XP

This is a bargain if anyone is looking for a cheap, quiet and decent specced multimedia PC.. just add mouse keyboard and screen

You got any info on temps and noise levels? Can it run 2x HDD as well?

Noise levels are almost zero.. i used to leave it on all the time in my bedroom as my bittorent machine, it was folding at the same time and was never audiable. the PSU and CPU fan are temp controlled.

It wont take 2 hdd's unless you got rid of the DVD drive.

Mini ITX all the way,

Was running one in my car with a 7" lilliput touchsreen behind the gear stick, pc bolted under the passenger footwell.

Looked well smart and an ideal incar PC alternative.

Satnav, iTune, w/lan.

Just think, Briskoda everywhere you travel :p

Looks nice a nice bit of kit, looking for somthing like this to run my PBX, lemme know if its not sold, boss might like it too.
