| Hi Guys, I have made the decision to sell the Porsche brakes that I have been running on my Fabia VRS. i have just worked out how much they have set me back and it comes to over £1000. I have the reciepts for everything. As far as i know this is the only Porsche brake conversion kit for a Fabia available in the world. All the bracketry is bespoke, designed by me and A LOT of time went into the design and fitting of it. They have covered approximately 12, 000 miles on my car and have never been abused and always been cleaned religiously pretty much every time I wash the car, with the wheels off etc. The pads are standard Porsche pads and the discs are 332mm two piece ECS discs. The discs alone cost me upwards of £450. Unfortunately the kit does not come with any brake hoses as I damaged one the other day by accident. However, I have the reciept for the originals which were custom made by Merlin motorsport and could be made again in less than a week. I will also chuck in the caliper seal kits which are again genuine Porsche and could come in handy in the future if anyone decides to change them. These brakes really are awesome and look absolutely massive behind the wheels. Needless to say anyone fitting them to a Fabia will need 18 inch wheels and these may require spacers. I don't know whether they will fit underneath 17" wheels, people will need to check this before they buy. And lastly the price, I am asking £650 OVNO for this kit. It is the only one available for the Fabia and so your car would be completely unique with them and the amount of attention they draw is very suprising. The brakes will literally pull the skin off your face under hard braking . If you are interested, please PM me with details. There is a small amount of modification required to get these brakes to fit the car and so I will let anyone know who PM's me with a serious offer of what is required. I am not in a rush to sell these particularly but I need the cash for other things. Also, I am not overlykeen on posting these as I really don't want them damaged in the post and so would much prefer cash paid upon collection. These are also being advertised elsewhere and so could get snapped up pretty quickly. Thanks for your time, Dave A pic of them were when they were new ![]() And a pic of them on the car ![]() |

| If this is inappropriate then please report it for deletion. However I'm curious why you made custom brackets and what modification was required to the car. AFAIK the ECS kit would have gone straight on as fitment is the same on the Fabia vRS as the Octavia vRS and Golf GTI. I know the Brembo kit I had on Octavia went on Jason's Fabia.

| I don't mind you askin fella, if you don't ask you'll never know right? Well, first off I didn't go for the Brembo route coz loads of people have done it and couldn't come up with the parts I needed at the time for anythiung like a reasonable price. Plus I wanted massive discs. This isn't an ECS "kit" that you can buy off the shelf for the Fabia. I have never come across one on my travels. I was informed by a reputable tuning company that the ECS discs would be a direct fit on the Fabia (they were designed for the mk4 R32) but this is not the case and modification is required. The brackets were desined to fit the calipers to the car's mounting points. HTH, Dave |

| I don't understand why they don't fit though. I had the ECS kit after the brembo kit on my Octavia and they were basically the same fitment. I then sold my Brembo kit to a Fabia owner and they fit that. Is the problem that there is something in the way of the discs as they sit further back than the brembo kits?

| Sorry - Eddys not having a dig, like me he is just genuinely curious as to what modifications were needed! Its fairly accepted that brakes compatible on the Mk4/Octy will work on Fabia, hence the curiosity as to why a bespoke setup was needed! ![]() |
