Default 312mm Brake Kits

Does anyone know if anyone still does those 312mm brake conversion/upgrade kits for Mk1 Octavia VRS' that used o be available either through this site or the 'bay?

Think thay were coming off Audi TT's that were being upgraded to Brembo systems?

Alternatively could anybody recommend a suitable kit that offers quality, performance and cost?
Don't think I can run to Brembo's!

There will be an ever reducing amount of new/delivery miles sets though, as the TT/S3/Octy/Golf now run a 5x112 PCD setup.

Nothing to stop you sourcing 2nd hand parts though and then fitting new discs/pads if appropriate. Keep your eyes peeled for 312mm calipers and carriers

VAGParts do the carriers for £100 and the Callipers for about £250.

Add £60 for Brembo discs from GSF and £60 for pads of your choice and that would be the price for the new parts.

As you can see it's the callipers that are expensive, but if you can source them second hand the rest isn't too bad.

I wasn't intending for this to be my first post but couldn't resist it.

I have a 312mm setup for sale from my Audi S3, everything needed. Came off at 21k miles when I put a GT3 Porsche kit on...

You're quite correct. But people here are talking about changing the Fabia vRS standard brakes, at 288mm for these 312mm items

Out of interest, will these fit behind 17s? Never got complete confirmation about it when I spotted the same setup for sale last year. The R32 and TT Mk1 V6, which also ran the same setup, both ran 18s as std.

Think They will as 312's will fit Behind 16's! You would have to be careful about the dish on your wheels though as the callipers are twin pot jobbies and rather large! Summat like OZ Super-T's would prob be OK!

The Reason I'm selling them is I've gone 305mm Brembos on the Rado! Saved changing to 5 Stud!!

BTW Sorry for the Thread Hi-Jack

I'm selling some brand new in box grooved 312mm discs with carriers, which i painted VRS green (3 coats).

The only thing you'll need are some calipers and pads (cheap enough off ebay).

Give me offers above £150
