Boost controller

Looking to get my 51 plate vRS 1.8t remapped. Was looking at the custom remap at £475.

Does this include a boost controller, or is this extra?

Also my car has just passed 60k, is there a mileage where you wouldn't recommend a remap? As I'm sure I've seen 70k somewhere.

Michale remap his Octavia TDi with 150k on the clock was still going strong last I heard.

Make sure you have the cambelt changed as well as the water pump at 60k.

The cambelt and waterpump were changed, but I didn't know about the decent metal ones so just got the replacement from skoda so no idea if it's a metal or plastic one. Should be ok though for another 60k I'd imagine?

What sort of extra cost is the boost controller? The main reason I would want one is to try and save the engine a bit, ie if I'm on a long drive have it on low boost.
