Car: black Octavia (200BHP)
Default A couple questions about a custom map for Fabia VRS

Hi all,

I am looking to have my Fabia vRS (standard) remapped around June time for my birthday at jabbasport but I have a couple of queries that I would like answered if those in the know wouldn't mind answering.

1) I note that the custom rolling road map (the version I would go for) states bhp 179 - 190 ish however would it be possible to restrict the map to just 170bhp (all I really want as the car is completely standard.

2) following on from the fact the car is standard are there any 'mods' I would have to do before I could have it remapped (I was thinking about the PD160 air intake but thats about it).

Cheers

Owen

Hi Owen
Doing the map to 170bhp wouldnt be a problem
the figures that we quote are for a completely standard car anyhow but the pd160 intake is a very good mod as it is still an OE part!!!
the other mod you could think about is the green panel filter as this again helps with how the engine breathes and unless you took the airbox apart you wouldnt know it was in there!!!
hope this helps
