Question Fabia Vrs Custom Remap

Could you give me a price on a remap to my Fabia VRs?
The car has FMIC, Milltek Hi flow Cat / Downpipe to Milltek System.
PD160 intake & green filter.
What power figures would i get from the above, iam wanting a smooth Power curve and something thats 1/2 kind to the DMF and clutch.

Also would i gain much in the figures by changing to a Full Decat? Is there anything else that i would be better off with like a proper induction kit?

Let me know your thoughts as your the people in the know.

Cheers Guys
Steve

Hi Steve,
The remap is £475 for a full custom remap on the rolling road to suit your car!!!
You would get around 185-190bhp and around the 315-325lbft mark!!!
Putting a decat on a standard turbo will make the boost run away, and it would make the turbo drop out, so we wouldnt recomend this.
Induction kits are "ok" but there not ideal as the 160 intake is a really good feed of cool air into the airbox anyway, as long as you keep the filter clean it should be good.
plus putting a cone filter on a diesel just amplafies the "dagga daggan dagga" sound.

The setup you have got at the moment is ideal for reliability on the turbo

Sorry its been slow getting back to you, but i hope it helps you out a bit
Luke

Hi Luke
Your reply was quick and sound for me
Think ill go cancel the Decat pipe then.
Wouldnt 315-325lbft mark be a DMF/Clutch killer??
And you say induction kits are "ok" so whats the best thing??
(sounds like ive done the best thing with pd160 so the performance iam wanting)
Does the remap allow a ride in yours
Cheers
Steve

haha yea i will take you out in mine (as long as i have still got it)
It SHOULD keep your clutch ok but it will just depend on how you drive it, we could all wase pull it back more for you if you want!!!

The PD160 and Green Panel combo is the best intake system we have tryed on the fabia so far.
On my car we tested BMC, Pipercross, and we tryed making our own stainless shield with a Green Cone filter and none of them made any more power than the standard airbox

I detect a hint of a Change of car coming. Tell us all more?
Iam now saving fully for the remap.
How much is that stainless tube from intercooler to your EGR valve( I saw it in the performance tunner mag pitures), or is it just a one off piece for yourself?
Cheers Luke and ill hopfully be in touch very soon
Cheers
Steve
